Different yet the same

 Mommy why is Jenny's eyes so funny as little Tim walked up the stairs to his new classroom. Timmy had noticed  that   there was something about jenny that made her stood out form among the other girls. Ms Perkins was reluctant to answer  her son since his mother was nearby, but  Ms. Perry answered with a smile on her face. oh yes Timmy she is different  . She has down syndrome. "Down's Syndrome?", Timmy asked. Is it contagious. oh no Ms. Perry answered it is a Genetic Disorder.  

 

 The Good Old Days

The most enjoyable times of my elementary school days was during singing. growing up in the country side Friday afternoons  in  my large wooden school building was singing time. The voices of the children echoed as they harmonized. We sang about everything from and would  close with our favorite, "Now the  day is over:"  it was not until late  i realized that the swaying song was one way of my teacher teaching us how , the coconut tree moves.
